My name is Xiaofei Xu, and I am currently in my final year of the MBA program in Community Economy Development. As an MBA student, I have always aspired to apply the knowledge and skills I have gained to start my business called Fay’s Pet Portrait. I’m a self-taught artist and I am very passionate about art and creativity. My business’s mission is that I hope my artwork can help people keep long-last memories with their pets and express their love! It is with great joy that I share with you the journey that has led me to this momentous occasion.

The Island Sandbox, organized by the CBU Innovation and Entrepreneurship Centre, has been an instrumental platform in nurturing innovation, fostering collaboration, and igniting the entrepreneurial spirit within our community. The 5-Day Startup event, in particular, has been an extraordinary opportunity for aspiring entrepreneurs like me to turn our ideas into tangible realities.
